The most recent data comes from an April 12-16, 2021 poll, which gathered responses from 4,423 adults, including 2,070 who identified as Democrats or Democrat-leaning independents, 1,575 Republicans or Republican-leaning independents, and 468 independents. The April poll has a credibility interval, a measure of its precision, of 2 percentage points for the full sample, 3 points for Democrats and Republicans, and 5 points for independents.
