Sweden take on Poland in their final Group E game in Saint Petersburg on Wednesday. Slovakia are now presented with a mammoth test against Spain in their final group game on the same day in Seville.
Emil Forsberg's strike from the penalty spot has handed Sweden 1-0 win over Slovakia in their Euro 2020 Group E clash in Saint Petersburg. Jan Olof Andersson's men were poor in the first half, but were much improved in the second period. They tested Slovakia at the back before Robin Quaison was brought down by Martin Dubravka. Forsberg held his composure to notch the decisive strike from 12 yards, which may pave the way for Sweden to qualify for the round of 16.

Sweden repel two dangerous crosses into the box before the referee blows the full-time whistle.
OVER! Kucka goes for goal from 30 yards with a powerful drive on his right foot, but he sends his effort just over the bar.
Sweden clear their lines for now, but Slovakia are keeping the pressure on in the dying stages.
Slovakia win a corner on the right flank which sees Dubravka come forward from the back. Could he atone for his error?
Krafth is in the action straight away as he blocks a goalbound effort from Hancko.
The goalscorer Forsberg is withdrawn in the dying seconds. Krafth makes his way on to the pitch to replace the midfielder.
Kucka rises in the box, but he fouls Lindelof in the process of attacking the cross from Duda.
Bengtsson sends the ball needlessly behind for a corner as he tries to clear his lines. It gives Slovakia a chance to attack the box with Duda to delivery.
Bengtsson gets forward down the left and opts for a low cross instead of taking the ball to the corner. His delivery is cleared before the full-back gives away a free-kick.
There will be five minutes of added time.
Bengtsson enters the action for the closing stages at left-back to replace Augustinsson.
Ekdal makes his way off the pitch for Sweden and is replaced by Svensson.
Weiss brings down Claesson in desperation and goes into the book.
SCRAMBLE! Duda's corner into the box causes problems for the Sweden defence. Hancko tries to force it towards goal before Skriniar has a go, but Andersson's men hold firm before clearing their lines.
Koscelnik angles a low cross towards the near post from the right flank. Danielson tracks the run of Benes on the charge and is able to force the ball behind.
Slovakia have paid the price for their negativity in the second half. They now could be faced with the prospect of a tough challenge in their final game to qualify for the last-16 against Spain unless they can muster a response in the closing stages.
Off comes Hubocan for Slovakia down the left flank and Hancko enters the action.
Hrosovsky is withdrawn by Tarkovic and is replaced by Duris.
Forsberg's penalty ends a run of 365 minutes without a goal for Sweden at the European Championships, with this their first in the competition since their opening group game at Euro 2016 (v Republic of Ireland).
CLOSE! Isak surges through the middle of the Slovakia defence before he gets halted by a desperate challenge from Satka. Claesson pounces on the loose ball, but his strike is deflected wide by Skriniar.
Duda goes into the book for Slovakia for dissent.

Slovakia take the move to withdraw Hamsik, who has had a poor second half. Benes replaces the skipper.
GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!! FORSBERG CONVERTS!!!! 1-0 SWEDEN!!! Forsberg holds his composure from 12 yards to fire his side in front. The midfieder strikes his effort beyond the reach of Dubravka into the bottom-right corner, despite the keeper guessing the correct direction. A great penalty from Forsberg.
Weiss replaces Mak for Slovakia before the spot-kick.
Dubravka goes into the book for bringing down Quaison in the box.
PENALTY TO SWEDEN! Isak flicks the ball around the corner for Quaison to chase in the box. He gets wiped out by Dubravka as he tries to take possession. The referee has no choice but to point to the spot.
Isak has now completed more dribbles (4) than any other player in this match - at a 100% success rate.
SAVE! Isak weaves his way past three Slovakia defenders down the left flank before striking a low effort towards the near post. Dubravka is alert and gets down to make a smart stop to push it away from danger.
Sweden have been much-improved since the break and are putting the Slovakia under pressure. They will need a win sooner rather than later to boost their hopes of reaching the last-16.
OVER! Lustig probes down the right flank and delivers a cross to the back post. Isak rises above Satka to head towards goal, but he can only send his effort over the bar.
Pekarik is withdrawn for Slovakia, which sees Haraslin enter the field. That could see Koscelnik sit deeper.
Berg makes way in the final third as Quaison enters the action for Sweden.
Claesson replaces Olsson in the middle of the park. Olsson was booked in the first half.
Danielson causes problems in the box once again, but he is penalised for a high boot on Skriniar as he attempts to find Larsson.
BLOCK! Forsberg and Isak combine in the final third to allow the striker to pull the trigger on his strike. Skriniar gets across once again to divert his effort wide of the left post. Sweden are upping the ante.
CHANCE! Danielson has to hit the target! Larsson delivers another precise cross into the box for Isak. The forward cannot guide his effort towards goal so he sends it back across the face. Danielson attacks the header, but can only nod his close-range attempt over the bar.
DUBRAKVA MATCHES HIS COUNTERPART!!!! WHAT A STOP!!!! Dubravka keeps the scores level with a brilliant one-handed stop to turn Augustinsson's header over the bar. The Sweden defender latches on to Larsson's cross, but the Slovakia keeper is equal to the attempt by guiding it away from goal.
WHAT A SAVE! Kucka makes a run towards the back post to latch on to a deep cross from Hamsik. He powers a header towards goal, but Olsen produces a fine reaction stop to turn it over the bar. It would not have counted anyway as Kucka was a fraction offside, but the Sweden keeper did not know that.
Forsberg makes a run at the Slovkia defence and tries to thread a pass through to Berg, but Satka on the stretch cuts out the offload.
The contest has been more open in the second half and the two sides have been more expansive in their approach in the final third.
Forsberg spots the run of Isak over the top, but the ball skips off the surface and bounces away from goal forcing the Real Sociedad man outside. The attack peters out to the frustration of Sweden.
Isak rolls an offload towards Augustinsson in the left-inside channel and he sends a low cross into the box. Satka is first to react and clears the danger.
SHOT! Duda skips past Berg after collecting an offload from Pekarik, but he lifts his strike from the edge of the box over the bar. Chances are starting to come from both teams.
OVER! The resulting corner is cleared as far as Forsberg on the edge of the box. He takes on a strike on the half-volley that travels over with the aid of a deflection, but the referee points for a goal-kick.
BLOCK! Forsberg inadvertently releases Isak into the box with a loose touch in the final third. The forward takes on a right-footed strike first time towards goal, but Skriniar speeds across and puts in a fine block to divert it wide of the target.

Slovakia have been the brighter of the two sides, but are still lacking a cutting edge in the final third. Stefan Tarkovic's men are in a stronger position in the group and know a point might be enough to send them through to the last-16. It will be interesting to see how that effects their approach in the second half.
It's goalless at the break in the Euro 2020 Group E clash between Sweden and Slovakia. There have been few chances in the contest, with the best coming just before the interval when Marek Hamsik lifted a 20-yard effort over the bar. Both sides have been resolute at the back, meaning, it will take something special or a mistake to break the deadlock.
HALF-TIME: SWEDEN 0-0 SLOVAKIA
OVER! Duda closes down Augustinsson and it allows him to tee up Hamsik for a strike, but the midfielder curls his 20-yard effort over the bar. Hamsik is not happy with the quality of pass from his team-mate.
Hubocan drops his shoulder down the left flank and supplies a cross into the box. It evades Larsson, but Lustig covers to block the cross.
Both teams have been conservative in their approach to the contest. With four minutes to half-time, both will be satisfied to enter the break with a stalemate.
Tarkovic's men are beginning to up the ante, but are still struggling to break through the stubborn line of Sweden's defence.
Slovakia win a corner down the left flank and the cross from Hamsik causes problems in the box. Satka and Kucka both try to launch strikes towards goal, but neither can penetrate a wall of yellow shirts in the area.
A deflected cross from Koscelnik finds its way through to Hamsik, but Danielson does enough to put off the midfielder and help the ball behind for a goal-kick.
There's not a great deal of threat from either side in the final third, It has been a quiet half for both Olsen and Dubravka.

Olsson takes a chance and brings down Hrosovsky. The Sweden midfielder has to be careful having been booked. Slovakia have a free-kick in a useful position.
Slovakia apply pressure down the left flank as Mak launches a cross into the box. Pekarik keeps it alive and scoops a pass towards Kucka, but his cross/shot is repelled by Danielson.
Augustinsson makes another probing run down the left flank. He supplies a cross into the middle where Berg meets it with a boot that launches the ball into the air. It loops towards the net and the forward pursues. However, he can only nod it backwards where Hubocan clears.
Augustinsson digs out a cross from the left flank towards Larsson at the back post. However, the winger fails to rise between Skriniar and Hubocan, allowing Slovakia to clear their lines.
Sweden have completed more successful passes today than the entirety of their match v Spain.
Olsson pulls back Kucka on the charge through the middle of the park and goes into the book. That was Olsson's third challenge of the game.
Olsson drives into the left-inside channel and wins a corner as Pekarik has to close down the midfielder.
Forsberg produces a neat turn in the final third to create space, but he fails to pick out either Berg or Isak on the edge of the Slovakia box.
Both teams are defending extremely well. These are two sides that are well disciplined in their shape. There's not much room to operate in the final third.
The game is not being played at a great tempo, with both sides content to knock the ball around rather than forcing the issue with incisive play.
Olsen receives a short back-pass from Daniels, but the keeper is composed as he takes it away from the onrushing Duda before offloading to Augustinsson.
OVER! Larsson clips a cross into the box from the right flank for Lustig to attack. However, he can only head his effort over the bar amid pressure from Satka.
Berg is in the action once more for Sweden, earning a free-kick deep in Slovakia territory down the right flank following a loose challenge by Hubocan.

Forsberg's low cross from the corner fails to beat the first Slovakia defender before Olsson's follow-up is claimed with ease by Dubravka.
Isak collects in the left-inside channel and twists and turns. He wins a corner off the legs of Satka to keep the pressure on the Slovakia defence.
OVER! Hamsik angles the resulting corner into the box from the left flank. Kucka rises highest in the penalty area to head a cross at goal, but his effort travels narrowly over the bar.
Hamsik angles a cross into the box from the right flank and Lindelof attempts to clear at the first attempt. However, the Manchester United man slices his clearance behind for a corner.
Larsson turns in the final third for Sweden and lines up a drive that is deflected. Dubravka gets down to make the stop before gathering at the second attempt.
Kucka makes a late run into the box to attack a cross from Koscelnik, but the ball loops over his head. It's a moot point anyway as Koscelnik was offside in the build-up.

Berg bundles over Kucka in the middle of the park to stop Slovakia moving into the Sweden half. A sign of intent from Andersson's men.

Slovakia have never beaten Sweden in their five previous encounters (D3 L2), with their last four games never producing more than two goals.
Slovakia have made two changes to their side from their win over Poland. Hrosovsky comes into the middle alongside Kucka in place of Hromada, who drops to the bench this afternoon. Haraslin also makes way from the starting line-up and is replaced by Koscelnik.
Sweden are unchanged from their draw against Spain last time out. Andersson keeps faith with the same line-up, including Berg who leads the attack with Isak. The Sweden boss resists the temptation to call Juventus forward Kulusevski into the fold. Lustig, who was forced off against La Roja, is fit enough to start from the off.

Slovakia were excellent in their opener, defeating Poland 2-1 in Saint Petersburg. Robert Mak's sensational run and strike brought about a mistake from Wojciech Szczesny to put them in front. Although Karol Linetty scored an equaliser, Milan Skriniar's notched the decisive strike to secure the three points for Stefan Tarkovic's men. Slovakia are top of the group entering the contest and another victory will pave their way into the round of 16.
Sweden played out a goalless draw against Spain in their opener, putting forward a defensive masterclass to defy La Roja. Marcus Berg could have won the contest for his team, but he failed to convert from close range. Jan Olof Andersson will still have been satisfied with the point, although he will have stressed the need for an improvement this afternoon to strengthen their position in the group heading into the final round of games.
