Austria can still qualify, but they are now third and level on points with Ukraine, who they face in the final group game. Meanwhile Netherlands face North Macedonia on Monday.
Netherlands secure qualification to the knockout stages of Euro 2020 with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Austria. The led 1-0 at the break after Depay converted from the penalty spot and they controlled most of the game, with Austria unable to test them until late on. De Vrij went close just after the hour mark, but Bachmann made an excellent save, before De Ligt was denied on the follow-up. However, just a few minutes later Netherlands doubled their lead, after Depay set Malen off in behind and he then squared it to Dumfries, who fired it into the back of the net.
FULL-TIME: NETHERLANDS 2-0 AUSTRIA
The game is quite open now, with Austria pushing forward but they are leaving themselves vulnerable at the back, with Netherlands looking keen to get a third goal.
De Ligt seems to be struggling with cramp at the moment as we enter the final few minutes, the defender has only just come back from injury, so completing a full game is a huge positive for Netherlands.
There will be a minimum of four minutes added time played at the end of the second half.
Netherlands have scored 2+ goals in each of their last nine matches in all competitions, their longest run of doing so since May 1935.
There's just a few minutes, plus any additional time added on left to play now, can Austria pull one back late on to make it a nervy finish for the hosts?
CHANCE! Onisiwo with a great opportunity to pull one back for Austria! Kalajdzic chips a lovely ball over the top of the Netherlands defence and Onisiwo gets away from De Vrij and powers a header towards goal. However, it is straight at Stekelenburg, who makes a good save. Either side of the keeper and that might have gone in.
Schlager also heads off the pitch and Onisiwo is his replacement.
Austria make their final substitutions now as well, with Dragovic replaced by Lienhart.
Final Netherlands change now, with Depay replaced up top by De Jong.
CLOSE! Good move by Austria and they work it out to Alaba, who unleashes a powerful effort towards the top right corner of the net, which had Stekelenburg scrambling across his goal. However, it flies just wide of the post.
Alaba has finally started to push forward and move into a more attacking position, which is something he should have done much earlier in the game.
As it stands Netherlands will go through to the knockout stages of the tournament, with Austria having to battle it out with Ukraine for the other spot.
The hosts look like they could score every time they push forward now, they have been very comfortable today and it doesn't look like Austria will be able to get back into the game.
Another Dutch change now, with De Roon heading off and he has been replaced by Gravenberch.
Netherlands and Austria’s only previous encounter at a major tournament was in the second group phase of the 1978 World Cup. The Oranje won 5-1 on their way to that year’s final.

Netherlands have the players to catch Austria out at the back over the top and the high line that Austria are playing is falling straight into their hands.
Bachmann has been booked in the aftermath of the goal after he runs over to the linesman and appeals for offside, but Malen was well onside.
Malen has only just come onto the pitch and he has already been heavily involved, setting up what will probably be the goal that wraps up the win for Netherlands.
GOAL! Netherlands double their lead, it’s 2-0! Austria play a really high line and get caught out at the back, with Depay flicking it over the top for Malen to sprint onto the end of. The striker races towards goal and could have gone for it himself, but instead opts to square it to Dumfries to his right, who slots it into the back of the net. Bachmann gets a touch to it, but he can’t stop it from heading in.
The third Netherlands change sees Van Aanholt replaced by Wijndal.
Weghorst is replaced up front by Malen.
Netherlands have now made a few changes of their own, with Blind one of those coming off and Ake is his replacement.
The other change sees Laimer head off the pitch and he has been replaced by Grillitsch.
Double Austria substitution coming up now, with Gregoritsch the first to come off and he has been replaced by Kalajdzic.
CHANCE! Netherlands should be 2-0 ahead! Depay whips a superb corner delivery into the box, which is met by the head of Weghorst, who powers it back across goal and De Vrij flicks it on, but Bachmann makes a terrific save. The rebound then falls to De Ligt just a few yards out, but it comes to him quickly and the shot is blocked by Gregoritsch and flies narrowly past the post.
Lovely stuff by Van Aanholt down the left wing, he gets forward on the overlap and tries to drill a low cross into the box, but it is well blocked and goes behind for a corner.
Wijnaldum is running the show in midfield for Netherlands, he is getting into a variety of different positions and has been one of the best players on the pitch.
Netherlands are still in control of the game, but they have dropped off the pace and it looks like a second goal for the hosts would probably clinch the win and three points.
Dumfries has been excellent down the right wing for Netherlands, the wing-back is constantly getting forward and causing problems down the flank.
The visitors are showing a bit more urgency to get forward and create something in the early stages of the second half, but nothing has been created in the final third and Stekelenburg remains untested.
Austria ended a run of nine consecutive matches without a win at major tournaments (EUROs + World Cup) with their 3-1 win over North Macedonia. They last won consecutive games at a major tournament in the 1982 World Cup, winning their opening two group games.
Surprisingly there have been no changes at half-time by Austria. It will be interesting to see how long they leave it before doing something to try and get back into the game.

Austria have been off the pace today, they will need to make some changes to try and get back into it as they are yet to test the Dutch defence and look vulnerable at the back themselves.
Netherlands lead 1-0 at the break after Alaba fouled Dumfries just inside the box and after a VAR review, the penalty was awarded. Depay stepped up to take it and coolly converted, sliding it into the bottom left corner of the net. They should have extended their lead after dominating the first half, with Depay having a couple of excellent chances, firing into the side netting and missing an excellent opportunity from close range.
HALF-TIME: NETHERLANDS 1-0 AUSTRIA

Austria try and play the ball out from the back, but they get caught out and the ball falls to Depay just inside the penalty area. The striker tries to curl it into the top right corner of the net, but his effort his well blocked.
Another good chance! Van Aanholt gets lucky as he tries to skip past his defender and the ball falls perfectly into his path in the box. The wing-back then pulls it back to Wijnaldum, but his effort his well blocked.
CHANCE! Woghorst sneaks in behind the Austria defence after a ball over the top by Van Aanholt and he should take the shot on himself on the volley, but instead he opts to square it across goal to Depay and he fires his effort over the crossbar. He should have done better with the strike, that was a great opportunity to make it 2-0.
There isn’t long left to play before the end of the first half, can Netherlands double their lead before the half-time whistle? Or, will Austria be able to pull one back?
Austria might want to look at making some changes at the break in order to get back into the game, especially moving Alaba further forward so he can influence play more, rather than sitting deep in a defensive role.
Not too far away! Hinteregger gets forward from defence and there isn't much on for him so he opts to fire an effort towards goal himself. The defender unleashes a powerful strike and it flies just over the crossbar. Stekelenburg had to watch that.
The Austrian front two of Baumgartner and Gregoritsch have hardly touched the ball so far, their movement has been poor and they all look short of ideas when attacking.
De Vrij is very lucky to get away with just a warning and not a yellow card after a blatant block on Sabitzer, stopping the Austrian from sprinting past him. That should have been a booking.
We’re at the half an hour mark now and it remains Netherlands who lead Austria 1-0, thanks to Depay's penalty after 11 minutes, following a poor challenge by Alaba on Dumfries.
Blocked! Baumgartner cuts onto his right-foot inside the penalty area and finds space to fire an effort towards goal, however, De Ligt reads it brilliantly and makes an excellent block.
Netherlands have won their last 21 matches when scoring first, since a 1-2 defeat to Italy in March 2017.
CLOSE! Alaba receives a throw-in deep inside his own half, but he lets the ball bounce dangerously in front of him and it puts him under pressure. Depay then sneaks in and latches onto the end of it, volleying it towards the top right corner of the net. However, it flies just wide of the post and into the sidenetting.
Neither keeper has been called into action yet, with Stekelenburg hardly having a touch on the ball so far, he's been a spectator, as his side are on top.
Austria just can't get the ball out of their own half at the moment, with Netherlands playing a really high press and they have some good numbers in midfield to crowd their opponents out.
Netherlands have dropped off the pace slightly since the opening goal, they seem pretty happy to allow their opponents possession.
Since De Boer's first game in charge, only Romelu Lukaku for Belgium (10) has more international goals for a European nation than Depay has for the Netherlands (8).
De Roon is the first Dutch player to be booked after his poor challenge on Gregoritsch.
This early goal will be a massive boost for Netherlands, especially with the home support pushing them on. Austria need to get the ball down and try and get forward themselves.
GOAL! Netherlands lead 1-0! Depay steps up to take the spot-kick, which was conceded by Alaba after his late challenge on Dumfries and the forward makes no mistakes with the finish, coolly sliding it into the bottom left corner of the net, with Bachmann unable to reach it.
Alaba has also been booked for his challenge on Dumfries which saw Netherlands awarded a penalty.
PENALTY! VAR have taken a look at the challenge on Dumfries by Alaba and tell the referee to go and take a look at the pitch side monitor. It shows clear contact on the wing-back by the Austrian skipper and the referee turns and points to the spot.
PENALTY SHOUT! De Vrij races into the box and goes down under a little bit of pressure, but it's very soft so nothing is given. However, the ball then falls to Dumfries right on the edge of the penalty area and Alaba dives in and catches the wing-back, causing him to go down. Nothing is given on the pitch, but VAR will take a look.
Qualification to the knockout stages can be confirmed today with a win for either side, as they would have six points. A massive incentive to have it wrapped up after two games.
Ulmer does well down the left wing, skipping past De Roon after Austria won the ball back and he then races into the penalty area. However, Dumfries gets across and makes a good tackle to clear the danger.
Netherlands are enjoying the majority of the early possession here, but Austria are pressing them high and making sure the Oranje don't get near their final third and create anything.

Frank de Boer has made just one change to his side that, with De Ligt returning to the starting XI after injury and he has replaced Timber at centre-back.

Meanwhile Austria beat North Macedonia 3-1, but they also left it late to claim the win. Therefore, Austria have the advantage at the moment, as they lead Group C on goal difference. The other game in Group C today saw Ukraine claim a 2-1 victory over North Macedonia.
Both teams won their opening games, with Netherlands beating Ukraine 3-2 in a thrilling game that saw their opponents come back from 2-0 down, but the Oranje hit back and clinched all three points late on, thanks to a goal from Denzel Dumfries.
